These images where the very first ones I drawn and taken to photoshop to colour. The reason for the colours was from the inspiration of Victo Ngai's artwork. She uses alot of warm and cold colours which are contrasting colours and are effective if used properly.

I wanted to research into more and experiment with more mediums.

The reason for the first drawing which is an Ouroboros of Nu wa from before she took form of a human recreating herself. In the Second image Nu Wa begins to form into a female human head with most of her body as a dragon coming down to Earth from Heaven.

The images below are the ones I had for the group review. The drawing is challenging because of the lack of images on Nu Wa and other elements made it difficult to draw but also allowed me to use my imagination. There was a lot of thought process and challenges in this project.

The questions where how would I like each illustration to look like and when I read the story would it flow. I had to find other photo references outside the topic to create these illustrations from photo references and also creating my characters.
