Cinemagraphs

As well as my final product is a scroll instead of a book. I wanted something else which will help the story. Since my target audience is to the public and it is a exhibition piece, I wanted my audience to have a memorable experience. This is where the Cinemagraph technique came into mind.
What is a Cinemagraph? The technique is used mostly in Photography where you have a photograph and choose an element in the image and make a little animation. For example a photograph of a female which looked like a photograph then subtly the hair move side by side and the female is at the seaside. The technique helps the photograph come to life with very subtle movements.
What I want to do is to create a cinemagraph using my illustration and create an atmosphere for my audience to view my outcome.
Here are the experiments I tried and ended up not using any of them. The reason was that I did not feel that atmosphere when I was viewing it on a bigger screen. I wanted something more relaxing. The second version was little better but my problem was that if I projected that, the light would of not came through on the space given to me.
However it did not stop me from having a third time go at making a cinemgraph. The term cinema graph is often a technique used in photography where you have a photograph and give a little movement in the photograph, what I mean is making a very subtle animation.
