Thinking about Ideas

Before I started to research more about "Nu Wa", we were given time to think about how we would like our project to take form. We were given 'one to one' tutorials with our chosen tutors and we were asked to produce a Pecha Kucha to explain the project.
At the time, I was struggling to decide what I would like my outcome for the project to be. However my idea came along quickly after. It came from a game I had been playing recently called "SMITE". The game is an online PVP (player vs player) game, and the playable characters are based on myths, legends, gods and goddesses. A particular goddess who stood out was "Nu Wa". I then began looking into more about what her story was. The game had some information about her origins, but I wanted to look deeper.
I started my research by going to the university library to look for books on mythology. I also searched for more information on Chinese mythology. Additionally I had a look at other myths, fables, legends before deciding to keep the focus on Nu Wa.
I manage to deliver my Pecha Kucha without a finalised idea for the outcome. The good thing is that my audience understood where I was coming from.
I asked myself questions, what do I want to do? what do I want to see for the finale. I got my idea resolved it was just resolving in what I want to do, what medium and what outcome.
